Chelsea winger set to join Fulham for £8m
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi looks set to join Fulham for a fee of around £8 million.
The England international was once considered as one of the best upcoming talents in the country, but his career has been on a downslide.
Last season, he spent time on loan with Bayer Leverkusen, but he was hardly effective with just one goal and one assist from 21 appearances.
The Blues have now decided to offload him on the cheap, and reports claim that the Cottagers have won the race to secure his services.
The 22-year-old has already agreed personal terms, and a transfer could be straightforward with both teams currently in the United States.
In fact, they are due to face each other on Sunday. During that process, papers could be exchanged between the west London clubs.
Hudson-Odoi is currently training with the Under-21s at Cobham, having been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Former Chelsea winger Willian has reportedly played a key role in convincing him to join Fulham amid interest from abroad.
