Monaco bid for Tosin Adarabioyo rejected
Monaco bid for Tosin Adarabioyo rejected
Fulham have turned down a transfer offer for centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo from Ligue 1 giants Monaco, after the French side made their initial offer of £4.73 million. The deal was immediately rejected by the Craven Cottage side, who have no plan to sell the talented defender.
The 25-year-old has been linked all summer long with a move to Monaco, but so far negotations have stalled as the Cottagers see Tosin as an important member of their squad.
The Englishman, who is set to play his 100th game for Fulham since making his debut in 2020, began his career at Man City before loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers followed. Last season Tosin played 25 Premier League games scoring one goal, and is supposedly seeking more regular first team football and guarantees from Fulham that, if he stays, he will be playing in the starting XI on a consistent basis.
Monaco have a limited budget to spend on new players, but are expected to return with an improved offer before the end of the transfer window, so this story could continue into the end of the summer.
