French giants AS Monaco are preparing a fresh approach to sign Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun this summer.

The Gunners have decided to sell their club graduate in the current transfer window, but they are looking for at least €55m.

Monaco recently failed with an opening bid of €40m for him, but they are now planning to make a fresh offer on the table.

The Principality outfit are currently in a difficult situation after losing Breel Embolo for the season with a serious knee injury.

They are keen to find a young and promising striker to lead the line for them. Balogun has been identified as the perfect solution.

The USA international has already given the green light for the transfer, but it eventually depends on Monaco negotiating a fee.

Arsenal are prepared to delay his departure until the final days of the window as Inter Milan could also revive their pursuit.

The Nerazzurri recently failed with a verbal offer of around €35m, but they are likely to make a fresh approach in the near future.
