Fred to leave Man Utd for Fenerbahce
Fred to leave Man Utd for Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce are set to secure a move to sign Man Utd midfielder Fred, as the Brazilian centre-midfielder has been informed he is free to discuss personal terms with the Turkish side. Fener are set to beat Besiktas, Galatasaray and even a late bid from Fulham in securing a deal for 30-year-old player.
The midfielder will exit Old Trafford to follow Harry Maguire and Donny van de Beek, who look set for West Ham and Real Sociedad moves respectively.
Fred arrived in Manchester in 2018, playing 139 games and scoring 8 goal that time the 5 foot 7 midfielder has slowly gained a reputation with the club's fan faithful.
However, a move to Turkey looks like the player's next career move, as Fred has been told by manager Erik Ten Hag that he is surplus to requirements.
Fulham had been linked with a last minute move for the former Shakhtar Donetsk player, but ultimately Fred would prefer a move to Turkey where he is set to double his salary at Fenerbahce. United will receive around £5.8 million for the player's transfer.
