Chelsea pull out of talks to sign Tyler Adams?
Chelsea have reportedly pulled out of negotiations to sign Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams.
The USA international was on course to join the Blues earlier this week after they triggered the £20 million relegation release clause in his contract.
The 24-year-old underwent his medical tests with the club on Thursday, but Chelsea have surprisingly backed out of the summer transfer.
The Blues are currently determined to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton, but a deal is proving to be expensive after Liverpool entered the race.
Chelsea offered around £100m for Caicedo on Thursday night, but Liverpool managed to outbid them with their opening offer of £110m.
As a result, the Blues need to make an improved proposal for the 21-year-old. Due to this, it seems they have pulled out of the Adams deal.
Caicedo has been on the Blues' radar since the beginning of the year. He has already agreed personal terms and is waiting to join them this summer.
