Arsenal to confirm fourth summer signing tomorrow
Arsenal are expected to confirm the signing of Brentford goalkeeper David Raya ahead of their Premier League opener.
The Gunners recently agreed to sign the Spain international for an initial £3m fee with an option to buy for around £27m.
He underwent his medical tests earlier on Friday evening, and the Gunners are expected to unveil him to the fans tomorrow.
Raya has been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and he has joined the Gunners to compete with Aaron Ramsdale.
Ramsdale is the undisputed starter in goal for the Gunners, but he can't afford any errors with Raya having joined the squad.
Mikel Arteta wants strong competition in every position in the squad, and he now has two elite goalkeepers in the first-team ranks.
It is unclear when Raya could make his debut. We won't be surprised if he is picked to start in the Cup and European matches.
Ramsdale is expected to start against Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
