Brighton confident of keeping attacker amid Arsenal interest

Brighton & Hove Albion are confident of keeping Kaoru Mitoma at the club amid interest from Arsenal, according to talkSPORT.
The Gunners are aiming to sign a new winger before the transfer deadline, and they have been linked with many names including Mitoma.
The Japan international has been a revelation for Brighton in 2023, and he has managed a stunning 17 goal contributions in all competitions.
His form has caught the eye of Arsenal and Bayern Munich, but Brighton are confident of warding off suitors before the transfer deadline.
Talks are already underway with his representative and it is claimed that the 26-year-old is close to signing a new long-term contract.
Aside from Mitoma, the Gunners have also been linked with a move for Ajax star Mohammed Kudus, who is a versatile attacker.
He can play up front, on the right wing or as a main striker. Arsenal have already expressed an interest, but are yet to make a formal bid.
