Arsenal winger on his way to Besiktas?

Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe could be on his way to Besiktas on a permanent deal, according to L'Equipe.

The Ivorian has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Gunners, and he is now on the verge of leaving the club.

L'Equipe claim that an agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Besiktas over the transfer of the winger.

The 28-year-old has been permitted to travel to Paris to undergo his medical test before joining the Turkish giants.

Aside from Pepe, Arsenal are also set to part ways with Cedric Soares, who has been on the radar of Turkish teams.

The Gunners have no plans of releasing him on a free, and they anticipate at least a nominal fee to sanction his sale.

The north London club remain optimistic of securing a bid with the Turkish transfer window open until September 15.
