Man Utd to swoop for Tottenham midfielder?
Manchester United could line up a January move to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, according to Calciomercato.
The Red Devils bolstered their midfield with Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat in the last transfer window, but they could invest in January again.
Scott McTominay has been linked with an exit for a while. He was on the radar of Fulham and West Ham United over the summer.
Bayern Munich are now interested in landing him. If he were to head for the exit door, manager Erik ten Hag may want a replacement.
Hojbjerg could be under consideration. The Dane has fallen out-of-favour at Spurs and he is no longer a starter for the north London side.
He is likely to push for a departure as early as the January transfer window. Spurs are willing to sanction his sale for around £25 million.
Atletico are also keen on landing the former Southampton man. They tried to secure his services last summer, but were priced out of a deal.
