Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is ready to push for a summer exit due to the lack of regular game time.

The Frenchman is currently a back-up striker behind Rasmus Hojlund, who joined during the summer transfer window.

His situation seems unlikely to improve in the near future and this could pave the way for his departure when the season ends.

Martial's current deal expires in the summer of 2024, but United have the choice to prolong his stay by another year.

So far, the club have not taken the option and they could wait until the New Year before taking a decision on the clause.

It is now reported that Martial is unhappy with the proceedings and wishes to play regularly during the prime of his career.

He could as a result push for a move away from the club. It could be on a free transfer too depending on United's decision.

Aside from Martial, Donny van de Beek could head for the exit door. He could leave as early as the January transfer window.
