Man Utd interested in signing England centre-back

Manchester United are interested in signing Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi at the end of the campaign, according to South London Press.

The Red Devils were keen on landing a new centre-back last summer, but failed to do so after Harry Maguire refused to leave the club.

With their tight financial situation, the club needed to recoup funds first but they were unable to do so after Maguire decided to stay put.

It is now reported that the club could pursue a new centre-back next summer and Guehi has been identified as the perfect candidate for them.

Maguire was prepared to fight for his spot over the summer, but reports claim that he could decide to move on if his game time does not improve.

Meanwhile, United are not the only club interested in Guehi. Aside from the Red Devils, there is competition from Chelsea as well as Arsenal.

Palace are likely to demand £50 million for his services.
