Pochettino open to selling Chelsea star to Tottenham
Pochettino open to selling Chelsea star to Tottenham
Mauricio Pochettino has no concern over selling Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah to arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur this winter.
Spurs are currently without Micky van der Ven with a hamstring injury while Sergio Romero is suspended for two more games.
Van der Ven's injury is more serious than initially predicted and reports claim that he may not return until the turn of the year.
Even then, Spurs may not rush him back to action and Football Insider claim that Chalobah could be signed to provide more depth in central defence.
Chalobah has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since pre-season but he is currently not far away from returning to training.
However, he has no future at the Blues going forward and it is widely expected that he will be sold in the next transfer window.
Spurs are one of the interested teams and it is claimed that Pochettino won't block Chalobah from joining the London rivals in January.
