Manchester United could make three key signings when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The Red Devils recently confirmed a minority takeover from Sir Jim Ratcliffe. He will take control of the sporting operations at the club.

The Premier League are expected to approve the deal by late January thus paving the way for Ratcliffe to spend on new signings this winter.

A new striker is one of the top priorities for United in the next transfer window with Rasmus Hojlund yet to find the back of the net in the league.

The club are also eyeing a young central defender while they are exploring a central midfielder with Casemiro possibly leaving Old Trafford.

Casemiro has been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia next month. The Red Devils have their sights on landing Everton's Amadou Onana.

United are currently eighth in the league standings with only 28 points on the board. They are already eight points behind the top four places.
