Arsenal handed big injury boost on key midfielder
Arsenal have been handed a huge injury boost with Thomas Partey expected to return to action in the current month.
The Ghana international has been on the sidelines since November with a thigh injury and he was recently excluded from his country's squad for the African Cup of Nations.
It was claimed that he may not be available to play until mid-February, but The Mirror now report that the midfielder could be available for the Gunners before the end of January.
Arsenal are currently on a three-match losing streak in all competitions. The suffered back-to-back Premier League losses before the turn of the year before exiting the FA Cup.
The club are presently in a warm-weather training camp in Dubai and will be aiming to come back stronger after the short break. They host Crystal Palace on January 20.
It is already a must-win game for the north London giants, considering they are five points behind leaders Liverpool. A defeat could well end their title prospects for the season.
