Chelsea midfielder suffers another injury setback?
Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia could be sidelined for a while after picking up a fresh injury in late December.
The Belgian joined the Blues from Southampton last summer and he picked up a knee issue before making his debut.
He had to wait until late December to make his debut for the Blues, but he lasted just one game before another injury.
It is now reported that the former Manchester City graduate has picked up a more severe setback than initially predicted.
He is unlikely to feature in the coming games and Chelsea will handle his situation on a week-by-week basis.
The Blues will return to action against Middlesbrough in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final tonight.
They are trailing Middlesbrough by a 1-0 scoreline from the away leg and have the opportunity to redeem themselves.
The club will start as favourites with home advantage. If they reach the final, they will face either Fulham or Liverpool at Wembley.
