Man Utd lining up transfer for Brazilian defender?
Manchester United are reportedly weighing up an approach to sign Gleison Bremer from Juventus this summer.
The Red Devils have been following the Brazilian for a number of months and they are now preparing a formal move.
The centre-back currently has a release clause worth €60m in his contract, but that will only become active next year.
Hence, the Bianconeri are in a strong position to negotiate and they want at least €70m to part ways with his services.
It remains to be seen whether United will make such an outlay for the Brazilian, who is already 27 years of age.
Bremer is vastly experienced in the Italian top-flight and could be an ideal replacement for Raphael Varane at United.
Varane's current deal expires at the end of June and he has already confirmed that he will be heading out on a free.
The Red Devils could sign more than one centre-back. They are also interested in Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite.
