Arsenal lining up move for Southampton ace?

Arsenal could make a surprise approach to land Southampton full-back Kyle Walker-Peters in the final days of the transfer window, as per Teamtalk.

The Gunners have had a very quiet transfer window compared to last winter. They have yet to spend a penny on a new signing to bolster their squad.

That could happen before the transfer deadline with reports claiming that manager Mikel Arteta is eyeing a versatile defender to add to the team.

Walker-Peters has emerged as a target for the Gunners. The 26-year-old has the ability to play in the right-back and left-back positions effectively.

The big question is whether the Gunners can persuade the Saints to sanction the departure of the Englishman, who has been an undisputed starter.
