Former Arsenal striker pushing for Nottingham Forest move

Former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom is pushing for a move to Nottingham Forest before the transfer window closes tonight.
The 28-year-old joined Ajax from Middlesbrough last summer, but he has since played only 672 minutes in all competitions.
Akpom has still impressed with nine goals to his name and Fabrizio Romano claims that he is now keen on joining Forest.
Nuno Espirito Santos' side have proposed to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy for €16m if they avoid relegation.
At the moment, Ajax have not accepted the proposal from Forest and the Premier League club may need to improve the offer.
Akpom has just four Premier League appearances to his name in his career, having failed to establish himself during his time at Arsenal.
He appears keen on testing himself in the league in the prime of his career, but Ajax are playing hardball over a move and want a higher loan fee up front.
