Chelsea defender happy to stay amid speculation
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is happy to spend the remainder of the campaign with the London giants.
The centre-back has been injured since the start of the season, but he is anticipated to make his comeback this month.
This has spread speculation that he could be loaned out, but Standard Sport claim that he is happy to stay put for now.
Chalobah wants to buy time to make a decision over his future and he will assess his options during the next window.
The Blues graduate was the subject of interest from Bayern Munich last summer, but Chelsea rejected a loan offer.
Nottingham Forest were prepared to buy him for around £30m, but Chalobah was not keen on the late switch.
It is quite clear that he has higher ambitions for his career and it is left to be seen whether Bayern return for his services.
Chalobah has also been linked with the likes of Fulham, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent months.
