Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Varane starts
Manchester United will be eyeing a third straight Premier League win when they face Aston Villa on the road this evening.
The Red Devils are currently nine points behind the Champions League places and will be aiming to close the gap with another win.
Predicted Line-up:
Andre Onana has played every minute of the club's Premier League campaign since his move from Inter Milan last summer. He has kept seven clean sheets and will be eyeing another shut-out.
In front of him, there will be an enforced change with Lisandro Martinez ruled out with a knee injury. Raphael Varane is likely to replace the Argentine and partner Harry Maguire in central defence.
Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are nailed-on starters in the full-back positions and the same should be the case for Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo in the heart of the midfield for the Red Devils.
The midfield duo have started three games on the bounce together. Casemiro has started to find his stride since his injury return while Mainoo has been a revelation in his breakthrough campaign.
Further forward, it should be a straightforward choice with Alejandro Garnacho on the right wing on the back of his brace. Marcus Rashford will start in his preferred role on the left flank.
Bruno Fernandes will feature in the number 10 position with Rasmus Hojlund leading the line. The Dane has been in the form of his life lately with four goals in his last four league games.
Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): Onana; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
