Arsenal want to sign Portuguese attacker - David Ornstein
Arsenal are keen on landing Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto this summer, according to David Ornstein.
The Gunners have followed the progress of Neto from his time at Braga and they failed with a move to sign him in 2022.
The club have not followed up their interest in the last 18 months, but they are likely to make an approach in the summer.
Amidst this, Ornstein has confirmed that the Gunners are indeed interested, but there is no guarantee that Wolves will sell him.
Neto's current deal lasts until the summer of 2027 and Wolves are set to demand a staggering fee of around £80 million.
It seems unlikely that Arsenal will pay such a huge fee for the winger, considering his poor injury record at his club.
Neto has missed almost 90 games at club level with injury blows and would be a huge risk at the price quoted by Wolves.
Unless he is available for £40m, a deal does not make sense for Arsenal.
