Harry Maguire reacts to Man Utd's loss to Fulham
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has said that the club did not do enough in the opening 60 minutes against Fulham.
The Red Devils were second best against the Cottagers at Old Trafford and they were deservedly behind in the 65th minute.
United managed to come back into the game with Harry Maguire's late goal, but Fulham went on to win it via Alex Iwobi.
Speaking after the 2-1 loss, Maguire said that United did not start the game in good fashion, and were poor for the first 60 minutes.
The former club captain added that the club were probably naive in the end as they got caught and outnumbered on the counter-attack.
He said: "Overall on the balance of play we didn't do enough in the first 60 minutes or so, we started the game not great."
"We were probably naive in the end by throwing too many bodies forward and getting done on the counter attack."
With the defeat against the Cottagers, United have dropped eight points behind Aston Villa for the fourth spot.
