Man Utd join Arsenal in race to sign Turkish wonderkid
Manchester United have joined Arsenal in the pursuit of Besiktas wonderkid Semih Kilicsoy this summer, according to Turkish-football.
The 18-year-old has been a revelation for the Turkish giants this term. He has netted nine goals and provided one assist in his last 10 league games.
His progress has already caught the attention of the Gunners and it is now claimed that the Red Devils have also entered the transfer race.
Kilicsoy has the ability to play on the left wing, right wing or up front. Aside from his versatility, he is gifted with pace, dribbling and finishing skills.
His talent has not gone unnoticed, but Besiktas are reluctant to sanction his departure in the summer unless they receive close to €50 million.
Arsenal will have plenty of funds to spend in the off-season, but they are more likely to focus on a marquee striker over a versatile teenager.
United, on the other hand, have financial issues to deal with. They may have to offload players first to avoid potential FFP breaches.
