Man Utd preparing offer to sign Argentine wonderkid

Manchester United are preparing an offer to sign Argentine centre-back Aaron Anselmino at the end of the campaign.

The Red Devils have been keeping a close eye on the 18-year-old in the last few months and they recently made an enquiry.

TyC Sports claim that United will now proceed with a formal approach for the teenager, who only recently penned a new deal.

Anselmino extended his stay until June 2028 with Boca. As part of the agreement, a €18.5m release clause was agreed.

United are aware of the buy-out option in his contract. They may have to pay the figure to sign him amid interest from Milan.

Anselmino has been likened to Tottenham Hotspur's Cristian Romero for his playing style. He is a physical centre-back.

The teenager likes to engage in duels and win tackles and would be a perfect fit alongside Lisandro Martinez in future.

He may need to first adapt to the demands of the Premier League and may have to stay patient to become a regular starter.
