Chelsea already in talks to sign 13-goal striker

Chelsea are already in talks with the agent of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen over a summer transfer, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Nigerian star has had an injury-plagued campaign with the Serie A champions, but he has still scored 13 goals from 21 outings.

He is widely expected to pursue a bigger challenge in the summer and it is claimed that the Blues are one of the leading candidates for him.

The London giants are determined to land a marquee striker in the summer and talks are already underway with the agent of Osimhen.

Arsenal are also admirers of the former Lille man and they could be the main rivals for the Blues in the pursuit of the 25-year-old star.

Osimhen has the ambition of moving to the English capital. The Gunners could lure him ahead of Chelsea with Champions League football.

Napoli are prepared to sanction the departure of their prized asset in the summer, provided the £112m release clause in his deal is triggered.
