Chelsea preparing swoop for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder

Chelsea are reportedly preparing a summer approach to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha.

The Portuguese joined Les Parisiens from Porto in the summer of 2022. He has since been a key player from central midfield.

His performances have caught the eye of the Blues, who were previously following his development in the Primeira Liga.

According to TeamTalk, the west London giants are likely to make a summer move to land his signature, but a deal won't be easy to pull off.

Vitinha was signed by Les Parisiens from Porto for £34 million. With three years left on his contract, it won't be easy to convince them to sell him.

It could take a fee in the region of £60m to £70m to persuade the French champions into sanctioning his sale during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are likely to be more cautious with their spending amid the threat of breaching Financial Fair Play spending limits.

With a striker being the top priority, we would be surprised if they make a huge outlay on Vitinha.
