Arsenal have big advantage in Victor Osimhen race
Arsenal have a big advantage over Chelsea in the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen during this summer's transfer window.
The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League on goal difference to Liverpool. They have scored 70 goals from 28 games.
Despite this, they are expected to pursue a marquee striker in the summer and Osimhen has been identified as one of the top targets.
The striker currently has a release clause worth €130m in his deal, but Napoli are willing to negotiate a lower fee for his transfer.
Arsenal and Chelsea are ready to pay around €90m for his services, but the Gunners could have a big advantage over the Blues.
First of all, Mikel Arteta's side are set for another season in the Champions League while the Blues may not even make Europe.
Elsewhere, the Blues need to recoup almost €120m from player sales before the end of June before they can invest on a striker.
Arsenal can afford to sign Osimhen with no such Financial Fair Play concerns which could hand them the edge in the race.
