Man Utd prepared to offload midfielder for €40m
Manchester United are prepared to part ways with midfielder Casemiro for around €40 million this summer, according to Daily Star.
The Brazil international had a fantastic debut season with the Red Devils last term, but he has struggled to replicate the same level of performances.
Casemiro has been criticised for his poor positioning and lack of recovery pace. He has also been guilty of losing possession regularly.
United are now willing to sanction his sale amid interest from Saudi clubs. They plan to hold out for at least €40m for his services.
It remains to be seen whether they will receive such a fee. Casemiro recently said that he is determined to continue at the club.
The midfielder insisted that there has been disrespectful criticism towards him and he has plenty to offer for United at the age of 32.
Aside from Casemiro, United are open to offloading Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek during the next transfer window.
