Man Utd to enter race to sign Sevilla striker?

Manchester United could make a surprise move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri during the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are eyeing a new centre-forward this summer with Anthony Martial announcing his departure on a free transfer.

En-Nesyri has been linked with Premier League clubs for some point of time and United are now weighing up an approach for him.

The Moroccan star had a brilliant 2023/24 season with Sevilla despite their struggles. He scored 20 goals in all competitions for them.

With just a year left on his contract, the Andalusian outfit are likely to sell rather than losing him on a free transfer next year.

En-Nesyri could potentially move to the English top-flight. Aside from United, West Ham and Newcastle also admire him.

He could be signed for a fee of around €25-30 million. En-Nesyri has also been linked with Saudi clubs, but he prefers to continue in Europe.

Sevilla are likely to push for his exit before June 30 such that they can balance their financial books and re-invest the money.
