Arsenal get green light to sign RB Leipzig striker

Arsenal have been given the green light to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko during the summer transfer window.
The north London giants are expected to bolster their centre-forward department this summer and Sesko has been linked regularly.
It is now reported by The Mirror that Arsenal have the upper hand in the transfer race after receiving a positive response from Sesko.
Sesko has said 'yes' to the transfer and the Gunners now need to enter talks with Leipzig if they don't wish to trigger the release clause.
The striker's buy-out clause increased to €65m on the back of a promising 2023/24 season where he netted 18 goals from 2,056 minutes.
Arsenal have the ability to play the fee up front, but they may consider a long-term payment plan to facilitate more summer signings.
Chelsea were also interested in the talented marksman, but the lack of Champions League football has probably set them back.
AC Milan were also in contention for his services, but it is quite clear that they don't have the financial capacity to compete with Arsenal.
