Arsenal are also interested in signing Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the current transfer window, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The north London giants are in the transfer market for a new striker and they are currently looking at multiple options in the window.

Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres has been heavily linked in recent days, but Plettenberg claims that Guirassy is an option for them too.

The Guinean star had a fantastic 2023/24 season with Stuttgart. He scored a stunning 30 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions.

He is now expected to pursue a new challenge elsewhere. Borussia Dortmund are pushing to sign him, but there are not alone in the race.

Arsenal are one of the main admirers of the 28-year-old and could make a contract offer to persuade the striker to choose them instead.

Guirassy currently has a low release clause of €17 million in his contract. He has also been linked with Chelsea and AC Milan lately.
