Liverpool make contact to sign long-term Man Utd target
Liverpool have made contact to sign Manchester United target Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer this summer, according to Sport Italia.
The Frenchman has been a key player for Juventus over the past few years, but he could leave when his contract expires on June 30.
Rabiot has previously revealed his dream of playing in the Premier League and the Reds have now made an approach for him.
They are not alone in the pursuit. Rabiot has also received proposals from AC Milan and Roma while United are also in the mix.
United came close to signing Rabiot from the Bianconeri in the summer of 2022, but the deal broke down at the final hurdle.
Rabiot was more than happy to work under manager Erik ten Hag, but the club refused to meet his £8.5m per year salary demand.
The Red Devils face a similar kind of situation this summer. It remains to be seen whether they will make another attempt.
