Chelsea are negotiating the structure of the deal to sign Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 25-year-old was brilliant for the Foxes in the Championship last term with 26 goal contributions. He was key to their promotion under manager Enzo Maresca.

Maresca was recently appointed as the Blues new manager and he is now keen on a reunion with Dewsbury-Hall. Romano reports that the clubs are sorting formalities.

Dewsbury-Hall has already agreed personal terms with the Blues, but the Foxes are still to accept a suitable fee. As part of the deal, a player could be swapped separately.

Cesare Casadei is the leading target to move to the King Power Stadium, but there are suggestions that Datro Fofana could also make the switch to the Midlands outfit.

The Blues will be hoping to secure a quick agreement before the end of June as they need additional funds to balance their books and avoid breaching PSR limits.
