Arsenal set to benefit from Omari Hutchinson's move to Ipswich Town
Arsenal are set to benefit from Omari Hutchinson's permanent move from Chelsea to Ipswich Town.
The 20-year-old graduated through the youth ranks at Arsenal, but he left for the Blues on a free transfer in 2022.
Hutchinson spent last season on loan with Ipswich where he was impressive with 11 goals and six assists in 50 games.
He has now agreed to join the Tractor Boys on a permanent deal. The transfer will cost around £22 million.
Arsenal will receive a decent chunk of the fee, considering they agreed a 25 percent sell-on clause with Chelsea as part of the compensation for training costs.
Mikel Arteta's side have no financial problems at the moment, but they will be delighted to receive extra funds.
The north London giants are planning for a busy transfer window with plenty of incomings and outgoings.
The likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Aaron Ramsdale could leave permanently.
Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares are among other candidates that could be shown the exit door too.
