Quaresma wants great Euro 08

Ricardo Quaresma has today spoken about how he hopes to make a major impact during the European Championships this summer, as he surely eyes a move to one of one of Europe's elite clubs.

The Porto winger has been a revelation in Portugal after arriving back from a difficult spell at FC Barcelona. Perhaps the youngster failed to cope with repaying the huge transfer fee, something he will be hoping does not happen again as he eyes a move to Chelsea, Real Madrid or Inter Milan this summer.

Speaking of the upcoming tournament, Quaresma said:

"There are 23 players here that want to be starters. There are great players for my position, but I know my value and I believe in me," he said upon his arrival in Viseu, where the squad are preparing before leaving to Switzerland.

"I am a bit tired because of yesterday's game (Portuguese Cup Final) and the trip, but I will be fine."

"We have a lot of potential, we are a young team, but with a lot of talent,"

Portugal will be another side amongst the favorites to win this Summer's tournament and with players like Ricardo Quaresma, they have every right to be in confident mood.
