Arsenal ready to sell defender for €12-14m
Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Nuno Tavares for a package between €12-14 million this summer, according to Caught Offside.
The left-back spent the previous campaign on loan with Nottingham Forest where he was in-and-out of the starting line-up.
He barely made an impression in their performances and it was unsurprising that they declined the opportunity to sign him permanently.
It is now revealed that Arsenal have opened the door for Tavares' permanent departure and they want a fee between €12-14 million.
Ajax and Lazio have already expressed an interest through the player's agents, but they have yet to make a formal approach to Arsenal.
The Gunners are preparing for a busy phase in the summer transfer window and they are planning for incomings as well as outgoings.
Aside from Tavares, the likes of Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Aaron Ramsdale could head for the exit door in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently close to their second summer signing. They are in advanced talks with Bologna to land Riccardo Calafiori.
