Chelsea are reportedly eager to land Robinho from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports emerging from Spain.

Madrid based sports daily Marca reports that the Premiership are looking to splash out as much as €35 million to lure the player to Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid have of course vehemently denied that the Brazilian ace is up for sale.

Robinho has been in scintillating form for much of this season and played an instrumental role in Real's 32st La Liga triumph this season. But he was booed by some sections of the Madrid fans at the Bernabeu during Real's match against Levante at the weekend and this has fuelled rumours that the 24-year old Brazilian could be out of Madrid before long.

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster of course denies such rumours and says:

"He is not transferable. We are not going to sell Robinho. They (Robinho and Mahamadou Diarra) are two important players for us. Why would we want them to leave?"

But Marca reports that Chelsea are set to offer Real €35 million for the Brazilian international player who is often compared with Pele. Robinho arrived at the Bernabeu in 2005 and has really made the leap in the last two years, Chelsea on the other hand are eager to undergo a major revamp in the summer and therefore want new players into their set-up.
