Arsenal make official bid to sign Ajax goalkeeper

Arsenal have made an official transfer bid to sign Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Setford, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The London giants are aiming to reinforce their goalkeeping department and they have identified Setford as one for the future.
Romano claims that an opening proposal has already been made to Ajax and the clubs are currently in negotiations for Setford.
The 18-year-old was born in the Netherlands but he has represented England at all youth levels. He is excited by the Gunners interest.
Arsenal currently have Karl Hein as their third-choice goalkeeper, but he is widely expected to leave the club on a season-long loan.
Setford could be seen as a potential replacement for the Estonian ace if the Gunners are unable to bring someone who is more experienced.
Wolves goalkeeper Dan Bentley is also on the club's radar, but they have yet to convince the Midlands outfit to part ways with him.
Bentley has given the green light for a transfer to Arsenal.
