Man Utd eyeing surprise move for Dutch attacker?
Manchester United could make a surprise move to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Xavi Simons in the coming days, according to L'Equipe.
The Red Devils are keen on bolstering their attack further ahead of next season and Simons has been identified as a potential candidate.
The club have already opened talks with PSG regarding the winger and a deal won't be straightforward as Les Parisiens want a guarantee fee.
The French champions are prepared to loan him out this summer, but they want the interested suitor to include an obligation to buy.
The fee could be in the region of €60-70m based on recent reports.
United are currently behind Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in the pursuit of Simons. Bayern have already agreed terms with him.
Simons spent last season on loan with Leipzig where he registered 10 goals and 15 assists. He has a strong relationship with them too.
Hence, it won't be easy for the Red Devils to convince him.
