Arsenal eyeing two more signings after Calafiori
Arsenal are planning to make two more signings after the purchase of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna this summer.
The Gunners have been locked in negotiations with Bologna for the defender for the last few weeks and they have now reached an agreement.
The Serie A outfit are now discussing payment terms with Basel over the sell-on clause and a transfer could be finalised within a few days.
Calafiori could be given permission to travel for his medical by tomorrow. He could link up with the team on their arrival from the US.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are eyeing two more additions after Calafiori. Manager Mikel Arteta is planning to recruit a new central midfielder.
The Spaniard is also keen on purchasing a new centre-forward with reports emerging that Eddie Nketiah could head for the exit door pretty soon.
Nketiah is currently on the radar of Marseille who have proposed to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.
