Zaragoza for massive sell-out

Real Zaragoza, who have been relegated to the Segunda Division in Spain, is set for a massive sell-out of their big players in the summer to ease immense debts.

Zaragoza were touted as outside UEFA Champions League contenders at the start of the season but failed to grasp reality and slided down to La Segunda. Their relegation to the Spanish second division implies that they have to offload top players such as Diego Milito and Sergio Garcia.

A host of clubs including Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Manchester City all are eager to import the player. Milito has a buy-out clause of €100 million but in the wake of the club's desperation to gain money, he would come for as much as €20 million.

Sergio Garcia, who shall play for Spain in the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland next month, is set to be sold for around €10 million.

The likes of Albert Celades, Luis Carlos Cuuartero and Miguel have not renewed their respective contracts with Los Manus and are therefore speculated to head for the exit door. The massive wages of Zaragoza's stars such as Roberto Fabian Ayala, Pablo Aimar, Francelino Matuzalem, Peter Luccin and Francisco Pavón might give the club some worrying times.

Real Zaragoza are said to be in a debt of €76 million and only the quick sell-out of some of their major players would allay such a vast debt.
