Tottenham aiming to sign Serie A star ahead of Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to sign Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa ahead of Arsenal, according to Football Transfers.
The Italy international has been a key player for the Bianconeri, but he is expected to leave after turning down a new contract beyond next summer.
Chiesa has been touted to move to the Premier League and it is claimed that Spurs could have the upper hand over the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
Ange Postecoglou's side share a strong relationship with the player's agent while sporting director Fabio Paratici was previously in the Juventus board.
Spurs are very optimistic of signing Chiesa as a result, but they still have to convince the Euro 2020 winner to choose them over their league rivals.
Chiesa scored 10 goals and provided three assists last season. He managed to stay injury free for most of the campaign, missing just six games.
The attacker seems keen on a new challenge away from the Bianconeri and he could be allowed to leave for around €25-30 million up front.
