Sunderland target Park Chu-Young

It is being reported that Sunderland now have more than a passing interest in signing Korean starlet, Park Chu-young.
The 22 year old forward is well known for his blistering pace and ability to score goals.
The FC Seoul striker and former "AFC Young Player of the Year" is reportedly the subject of a bid from the North East side. The player himself has always expressed a desire to move to the Premiership and has previously been linked to Newcastle United.
Park was previously caught in the middle of allegations concerning Chelsea and sponsors Samsung, with it being thought (and then denied) that the London side had to take the player as part of the package.
Park Chu-young would certainly not be brought over purely for marketing reasons however, he is sure to offer a lot to Roy Keane's side on the pitch and could form a lethal partnership with powerhouse Kenwyn Jones.
It is thought that Park's club could be willing to do business for £4 million and Roy Keane is sure to have the money to spend after keeping Sunderland in the Premier League last season.
