Jadon Sancho sends farewell message to Man Utd

Jadon Sancho has sent his farewell message to Manchester United after his deadline day switch to Chelsea.

The England international had a disappointing United career and he has now chosen a new challenge with the Blues.

The west London giants have signed him on loan with an obligation to buy for £20m if they finish above 15th in the Premier League.

Sancho has now thanked the United fans, staff and his former teammates and wished them all the best in the future.

He wrote on X: "Thank you to all the fans, staff and teammates at Man Utd. Wishing everyone all the best in the future."

Enzo Maresca played a key role in bringing Sancho to Chelsea.

He previously knew Sancho when he was the assistant manager at Manchester City. The winger was coming through the academy.

Sancho has failed to live up to the expectations since his first stint at Borussia Dortmund. He has the chance to make amends at Chelsea.
