Liverpool don't want to sign La Liga defender
Liverpool have no plans of signing Sevilla defender Loic Bade during next summer's transfer window, according to Matteo Moretto.
The Reds are prepared for the potential departure of Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman has entered the final year of his contract with no renewal planned.
He is open to penning a new long-term contract with the Merseyside giants but a disagreement over the wages could lead to his free transfer.
It was recently claimed that the Reds could pursue a deal for Bade if Van Dijk leaves next summer. He has a £42 million release clause in his contract.
However, Moretto has dismissed the speculation by claiming that Arne Slot's side have no desire of securing the signature of the former Rennes defender.
The club are keeping tabs on different options to succeed Van Dijk. Sporting Lisbon's Goncalo Inacio is apparently one of the top names on their radar.
The club considered an approach for him in the last transfer window, but a deal did not materialise. The defender wanted a regular starting role.
