Enzo Maresca provides update on Lavia and James
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has provided an injury update on Romeo Lavia and Reece James ahead of the Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have made a positive start to the top-flight campaign and they have picked up 10 points from their opening five games of the season.
The club will be aiming to jump into the top four this weekend and ahead of the encounter, Maresca has provided some positive news on Lavia.
The Italian confirmed that the Belgium international has recovered from his hamstring issue and will be available to face the Seagulls tomorrow.
However, the Blues will continue to be without club captain Reece James, who has yet to recover from a hamstring injury picked up last month.
Maresca said in his pre-match press conference: "Romeo Lavia is back. The only player still out is Reece James."
Chelsea will face Gent and Nottingham Forest after Brighton. Maresca will be hoping that his team can continue the current winning streak.
