Bukayo Saka picks up hamstring injury on England duty
Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka suffered a hamstring injury while playing for England against Greece tonight.
The 23-year-old has been a huge performer for the Gunners this season and he has already bagged three goals and seven assists.
His contributions have been critical for the north London giants, particularly with Martin Odegaard out with an ankle problem.
Saka is likely to return to the Gunners training centre after the setback and it remains to be seen whether he can recover for future games.
Arsenal face Bournemouth on the road after the international break and as things stand, he looks unlikely to be fit for the South Coast trip.
The Gunners are due to host Shakhtar and Liverpool after the Cherries game. Saka's absence would be a massive setback for the club.
Martin Odegaard has started working out in an anti-gravity treadmill, but he is not expected to make his comeback until early November.
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League standings with 17 points on the board, one behind table-toppers Liverpool.
