Ruben Amorim confirms defensive injury boost for Ipswich trip
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed a defensive injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on the road.
The Red Devils went into the international break on a high with a 3-0 win over Leicester City and they will be aiming to carry forward the momentum.
Ahead of Sunday's game, Amorim has revealed that Luke Shaw is fine after his injury troubles and he has already trained with the team lately.
However, the new head coach hinted that he may not be rushed back into the starting line-up, considering his prolonged absence from regular action.
Shaw has picked up several injuries in the past and he could be eased back into first-team duties. He may initially get minutes off the bench.
United are 13th in the Premier League at the moment, but the club are just four points behind fierce rivals Chelsea, who are third in the table.
Hence, they could easily break into the top four if they can keep on winning. This is easier said than done with a new manager at the helm.
