Chelsea midfielder eyeing January move to Serie A
Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei is reportedly keen on returning to Serie A when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The youngster was signed by the Blues from Inter Milan in August 2022, but he has failed to establish himself as a first-team regular.
The 21-year-old is now eager to return to the Italian top-flight, and Fabrizio Romano claims that there are plenty of offers for him.
The Blues have loaned out the midfielder in the past, but they could be tempted to sanction his sale for a reasonable package.
Casadei may not be the only player leaving the Blues this winter.
There is talk of Kiernan Dewbury-Hall exiting the club, having failed to secure regular playing time under manager Enzo Maresca.
Maresca has personally confirmed that the former Leicester City man could leave in January. It could be a loan deal in the Premier League.
Brighton & Hove Albion came close to landing him over the summer and they could make a proposal for his services next month.
