Christopher Nkunku wanted by Premier League clubs
Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku is attracting interest from Premier League and European clubs ahead of the winter transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The France international had an injury-affected debut season with the Blues and he was largely on the sidelines during the 2022/23 campaign.
He has managed to stay unscathed in the ongoing season, but manager Enzo Maresca has clearly preferred Nicolas Jackson over him up front.
Nkunku is said to be frustrated by his current situation and reports claim that he could push for a new challenge at the turn of the New Year.
Manchester United have been linked with him in recent weeks, but it is unlikely that they will spend around £50m on the former Leipzig man.
The same can be said about other elite European teams. A move could depend on the Blues accepting a loan deal with an option to purchase.
Arsenal could emerge as possible contenders for him too with Bukayo Saka potentially out with a hamstring injury for the next two months.
